Mars Orbiter May Have Found 1997’s Sojourner

ZeeNews.com has the story.  Apparently, advances in imaging have led to the tentative conclusion that the Sojourner rover is only about six meters from the landing craft.

In other news, Google is planning to help build the LSST sky-scanning telescope in Chile.
*  Astronomer Phil Plaitt has a bad video of Comet McNaught.
*  NASA suspects that human error and a bad software upgrade caused the loss of the Mars Global Surveyor.
