DaVinci Still Alpha, Demo Available

Gary Edwards from OpenDocument Foundation writes "This proof of concept download might be helpful to you in the future; The ACME 376 Compatibility Kit:
http://opendocument.foundation.googlepages.com/home". Apparently, there is some functionality that depends on OASIS OpenDocument Format (ODF, ISO 26300) 1.2, which is still in committee, but expected later this year. OpenOffice.org (OOo) and KOffice will have ODF 1.2 compliant versions out later this year. I would assume that StarOffice and NeoOffice, being derived from OOo, will also be compliant at that time.

The proof of concept is the current public version of the DaVinci plugin, designed to give full "round trip" ODF capability to Microsoft Office.
