Like OpenOffice? Try Ultreo

Wednesday, 2007-December-12 at 20:48

The OpenDocument Format site occasionally has some tips on ODF-aware/ODF-using applications that are available. Today, they linked to an article about Ultreo‘s hosted OpenOffice.org service. Like with installing OpenOffice oneself, users gain the ability to work with documents in both ODF and in Microsoft legacy binary formats.

Read the article for more information, or go to Ultreo’s site to sign up and try it yourself.

Also, they tipped on the newest version of OpenOffice, version 2.3, really impressing an eWeek reviewer.
